Jonathan Mintz, commissioner of the Department of Consumer Affairs, and Cathie Mahon, executive director of the Department of Consumer Affairs' Office of Financial Empowerment discuss the city's joint program with CUNY and the Daily News to answer New Yorkers' questions about personal finance.

The show was interesting, but I don't understand what the point of giving out the "your money helpline" number when it was only available for one week, which was already over when the show was aired. Unless I am missing something? (I just tried to call and got a recording.)
Why should we believe anything any of the folks have to "advise" us about! We've listened to their "advise" all along and got screwed.
