I am a disabled Vet and would like to assist CUNY with developing an out reach program that focuses on recruiting not only veterans but individuals who are seeking a college degree but need assistance and encouragement to realize their dream .

I am currently on terminal and my EAS is december 8th of this year. I've been deployed to Iraq 2 times. The first time was in 2004 for 7 months and the second time was in 2006 for 14 months. I am a Sergeant of Marines and I got out because I thought I be successful in the outside world. My grades in High school were horrific but I did a complete 180 degree turn around and now I'm extremely focused on getting a degree in advertising/marketing. If there's anything you could do to help me please contact me via email or through my cell phone 760 717 3044. I don't know if it matters to you but I only spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps.

Thank you so much,
Antoinette Vucinaj

Brian, on this Veteran's Day, I am particularly pleased to hear your focus on CUNY's efforts to assist veterans who are interested in gaining access to postsecondary education through the University. Thank you for your interest. Jay Hershenson
