China's profound influence throughout Africa is helped by the world's ignorance. Europe's status quo neo-colonialist relationship with Africa's corrupt leaders, which provides them with a steady allowance, along with the US inability to create nuanced and reciprocal economic relationships with the contintent. The US is most comfortable with the perception of Africa as a chaotic, hopeless disaster which is not completely the case... it is ignorance.
maybe the usa and eu should reveiw our trade relationships with china
