Just sent Lehrer a longer message on how poorly managed I thought this segment was. I wonder who initiated doing this segment. It almost sounded like a promotional piece and Lehrer didn't seem too informed on the issue.

It won't just take money and new faculty to save Stony Brook. The administration here has no respect for the faculty who are already here. There's no reason to believe that the administration won't just take the money and build more fountains or buy more real estate - such as Southamptom University.
Has the report taken into consideration administrative problems at the individual campuses, before just promising more money?
