How can we talk about this tragedy without mentioning black on black crime? If this involved a white person killing three blacks (or visa versa) race would be made an issue in the discourse. However, it appears to be a dirty little secret that we are killing each other in record numbers. We don't want to discuss it. We are ashamed. When we hear about a crime on the news our first thought is "please don't let it be a black guy who did it. Not another black perp walk". We are in big trouble.
