My daughter loaned a ballet tu-tu to a friend, who left it on a LIRR train in Jamaica. The tu-tu was handmade for my daughter in Russia, it was worth about $1,000. We checked the lost and found at Penn Station for a month, and even though we knew the train number it was left on, it never showed up. The loss was just before Halloween, so all we could think was that some little girl had a beautiful costume that year, and had no idea what it was worth.

I lost my keys..only time ever. I ended up staying in a hotel with my recent ex-girlfriend. She had just moved out the night before! We slept in separate beds.
