R. W. Apple Jr. Associate Editor of The New York Times and author, Apple's America: The Discriminating Traveler's Guide to 40 Great Cities in the United States and Canada (North Point Press, 2005) discusses his book and his career as a journalist and travel writer.

Apple died on October 4, 2006, at age 71.
