"Radio is a sound salvation," sang Elvis Costello, and it's also the theme of Jonathan Coulton's euphonious music quiz. Fitting that the Mystery Guest is a Broadway superstar. Plus, mutated movie titles, a double name game, and an etiquette test from the 1960s. Got a light?

I had the misfortune of tuning in to Ask Me Another. This is possibly the worst NPR program I've ever heard on WNYC. Not only is it vapid, full of perky hosts, false laughter, and poorly conceived questions, the guests seem to know nothing. With that, it also manages to be boring. Following Wait Wait Don't Tell Me makes it even more offensive and idiotic. For heaven's sake, can't you do better than this? Why, when media tries for a younger audience, does it have to dumb things down; it's an insult to that audience and your entire audience of all ages.
