Tamar Adler is the author of An Everlasting Meal: Cooking with Economy and Grace. She was the head chef of a restaurant in Athens, Georgia, before working as a chef at Chez Panisse in Berkeley. Adler also worked as an editor for Harper's from 2001 to 2004.
