Playwright Craig Lucas discusses the world premiere of his play “Ode to Joy,” which he directs. He’s joined by Kathryn Erbe and Arliss Howard, who star in it. “Ode to Joy” tells the story of love, heartbreak, addiction, and illness through the eyes of Adele, a painter, and her destructive relationships with Mala and Bill, her two lovers. It’s playing at Cherry Lane Theater through April 19.
