Then Jacob Massaquoi, director of the African Refuge, a community center for Africans in Staten Island, talks about the West African community in Staten Island over the past ten years, particularly Liberians. Ruthie Ackerman, a senior fellow at the World Policy Institute and founder of the Ceasefire Liberia and Ceasefire Staten Island, joins us to talk about Liberian youth in Staten Island.
