Photojournalist Peter Menzel and Faith D'Aluisio, co-authors of What I Eat: Around the World in 80 Diets, discuss their book and what meals tell us about people around the world.

Listeners, we want to see what you eat. Over the next two days, pick one meal – breakfast, lunch or dinner – and snap a picture of it. Send it to brianlehrershow@wnyc.org and tell us your name, occupation, and a brief description of what you’re eating. If you have a cell phone with a camera, you should be able to text the picture directly to us. We’ll make a slideshow of your pictures on our website and we’ll also pass them along to food expert Marion Nestle, who wrote the intro to the book “What I Eat.” She’s agreed to take a look at your meals and offer her assesment of your calorie intake.
