Actress Cherry Jones and director Doug Hughes discuss the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of “Mrs. Warren’s Profession.” Considered one of George Bernard Shaw’s greatest plays, the play tells the story of Kitty Warren (played by Cherry Jones), a mother who makes a terrible sacrifice for her daughter Vivie’s independence. This is the first time Jones and Hughes have worked together since “Doubt.” “Mrs. Warren’s Profession” opens October 3, at the American Airlines Theater.
