Their book The Fox Effect follows Ailes’ career as a media consultant for Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush to in his current position and his mission, which they say is to spread a partisan political agenda despite the widely held standards of objectivity in news reporting.
