When it comes to women there seem to be three schools of thought on how they can attain happiness: "the Feminine Mystique school of Betty Friedan," which prescribes a woman hold an outside job; a "demi-feminism school of Marion Saunders" which advocates domesticity with unpaid community work; and finally the Freudian school which insists a woman's place is in the home.
