The epic six-month Detroit Symphony Orchestra musicians’ strike appears to have reached a finale. Although their new contract agreement is still in the process of being ratified, the ensemble recommenced rehearsals yesterday for free “patron appreciation” concerts this weekend. Detroit Free Press staff writer Mark Stryker joins us to fill us in on what looks to be the final notes of the strike—and what the future may hold for the group.
