Madeleine Kunin, who was the first woman governor of Vermont and served as the Deputy Secretary of Education and Ambassador to Switzerland under President Bill Clinton, looks back over five decades of feminist advocacy—where progress has been successful and where it has stalled, and at the successes of other countries.
