They were the hippest thing on the island of Jamaica in the late '50s, when Errol Flynn gave them their name. Flynn is long gone, but The Jolly Boys remain, and nearly 55 years later, they might still be the hippest thing on the island of Jamaica. Their latest album features covers of songs by The Clash, Iggy Pop and Amy Winehouse done in the pre-reggae style known as mento.
