I go by Jimmy or Lyrics. I’m 17 years old. My interests are music and video production. I spend most of my time writing, recording and editing songs and videos. My plans for the future include me continuing with music and video production with my team, PEMG (Petroleum Empire Media Group).
I live on Staten Island, known as the forgotten borough. Staten Island has a lot of “gold in the backyard,” but everyone seems to miss it. It’s just as “real” as any other part of New York City. It’s actually a really nice place to live in New York City without the hectic city setting.
I have my own video show called, “Let’s Talk Lyrics!” which is just me talking to other artists or people that have knowledge of hip-hop. I just started doing it, but it’s already getting requests for features.
My recorder, Lyrics, though silent, is a great listener and knows a lot.
