Jim Briggs has been the Selected Shorts mix engineer since 2011. His work has also been heard on WNYC’s Radiolab, Here’s the Thing with Alec Baldwin, and Soundcheck. He mixed WNYC’s hour-long documentary special Living 9/11, and was a team recipient of the Dart Award for Excellence in Coverage of Trauma in 2012. He has also mixed and edited sound for films and television shows including many episodes of PBS’ American Experience, the miniseries We Shall Remain, and The Supreme Court, with premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival, Cinesonika Festival, and the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.
