Francesca is one of WNYC.org's summer interns. She was born in San Francisco and grew up in New York City. She attends Columbia University, and is interested in creative writing, political science, human rights, and women’s studies. She is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and member of Choking on Bleach, a Brooklyn-based all girl’s post-punk band.
