Singer Darlene Love was on the Leonard Lopate Show to talk about her days as a backup singer. She's featured in the documentary, "Twenty Feet from Stardom," and we were also joined by former backup singer Merry Clayton and director Morgan Neville. Darlene Love told us what she's been listening to, ever since she saw the documentary.

The film features interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger, and Sting, to name a few. It opens June 14 at the Angelika and at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Theater at Lincoln Center.
