As a kid growing up in Stockton, California, musician Chris Isaak cut his teeth on the early rock ‘n’ roll sounds of his parents’ old Sun Records 45 r.p.m. singles. Today, Isaak talks about his pilgrimage to the Memphis studio where Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and others recorded some of those hits. And, he’ll play songs he recorded there for a new album called “Beyond the Sun.”
