Crowds Gather For "Sex and the City" Premiere
by Allison Lichter
Though Manhattan residents have been tripping over the film set for months, an international crowd packed the streets surrounding Radio City Music Hall for the movie's glittery, pink-carpeted, star-studded premiere.
Nicole Tan is from Connecticut. She said that the show completely changed her idea of New York City.
TAN: Me not being from New York, I just had a kind of glamorized idea of the people who are here. You know, the elite people who you can't really touch. You can see them up there, going what you go through on a regular basis and it makes it feel like everybody here, no matter who they are or where they're from are accessible to you, in a way.
REPORTER: Along with the movie's stars, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, Vogue editor Anna Wintour and singer Fergie were among the boldface names at last night's "Sex and the City" premiere.
