NEW YORK, NY May 13, 2008 —Two days of negotiations failed to salvage the $1 billion deal to develop the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's Hudson Rail Yards on the Far West Side. Developer Tishman Speyer says it's withdrawing, saying the two parties could not reach an agreement that satisfied both.
