A Golden Age for Women on Broadway

NEW YORK, NY May 13, 2008 —The Tony Nominations were announced today. Leading the pack were the musicals In the Heights with 13 nominations and Passing Strange with 7 nods. In addition to Broadway's efforts to reach younger, more diverse audiences, Elisabeth Vincentelli also argues that this is a golden age for women on Broadway.
