Clinton Video to Supporters says 'Thank You'
by Andrea Bernstein
NEW YORK, NY May 12, 2008 —Hillary Clinton has sent out a fund-raising video to supporters entitled "a thank you." WNYC's Andrea Bernstein has more.
Video fund-raising appeals have become common this campaign, but an unusually subdued Hillary Clinton, clad in a light blue pantsuit, made a cameo today. Referring to her narrow Indiana victory last week, Clinton said.
"Well we couldn't have competed without your help, and that's all I want to say tonight...and now it's on to West Virginia and Kentucky and Oregon."
In public addresses, Clinton has largely abandoned biting references to Barack Obama's policy proposals. Her aides this weekend confirmed she's $20 million in debt.
For WNYC, I'm Andrea Bernstein
