"Truth Force" at St. John the Divine
Activists Gather to Celebrate Gandhi's Legacy

NEW YORK, NY April 15, 2008 —It’s now 60 years since the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, and this month in New York, many events will be held in his honor, with plans to explore his ideas of social change through non-violence. Last night at the cathedral of St. John the Divine, a public forum was held to discuss Satyagraha--what Gandhi called "the power of truth" or "truth force."
