Hillary Clinton Still Has Supporters in Pennsylvania
by Andrea Bernstein
NEW YORK, NY April 04, 2008 —More bad news for Hillary Clinton this week. Polls are tightening in Pennsylvania, where she hopes to win handily on April 22. New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine is hinting he might switch his support to Sen. Barack Obama if the Illinois Senator wins the popular vote in the primaries. And Obama continues his record-shattering fundraising pace, announcing yesterday he took in $40 million in March.
With all of this news, you might think Clinton would take seriously some of the calls that she withdraw from the race, in the interests of Democratic party unity. WNYC's Andrea Bernstein traveled to Pennsylvania this week. She found a different story.
