NEW YORK, NY April 01, 2008 —Sarah is a co-founder and Executive Director of Kundiman, a Filipino term for a patriotic love song, that now represents a network of writers and poets dedicated to the cultivation of new Asian-American writing. Sarah studied Creative Writing at Brown, did a fellowship at the MacDowell Colony and now teaches young poets at CUNY York and Baruch colleges. Her most recent collection of poetry, Matadora was published in 2004. You can also hear Sarah on From the Fishouse, an audio archive of emerging poets.
