Lack of Yankee Funds for South Bronx

NEW YORK, NY March 19, 2008 —The new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx is more than halfway finished. It's expected to be ready on schedule by opening day of 2009.
But, the surrounding neighborhood isn't seeing all the benefits that were supposed to come, even while residents are contending with construction noise.
