Paterson Says He's Ready to Govern
by Amy Eddings
NEW YORK, NY March 13, 2008 —Showing flashes of his trademark wit and self-deprecation, incoming governor David Paterson outlined his immediate plans when he takes over from resigning Governor Eliot Spitzer on Monday and he took questions from the media.
It was the lieutenant governor's first news conference since news on Monday that Eliot Spitzer had solicited the services of a high-priced prostitute. New York Post reporter Ken Lovett is Amy Eddings’ guest on All Things Considered.
