Photos, Videos Submitted in Bell Trial
by WNYC Newsroom
NEW YORK, NY March 12, 2008 —The trial of three New York City detectives charged with the fatal shooting of Sean Bell continues in State Supreme Court in Queens.
Yesterday, two Port Authority police officers testified that they were almost hit by a stray bullet when it struck an AirTrain station one block from the shooting.
Prosecutors also played a video that shows the two officers talking in the lit terminal when a nearby window partially explodes.
A photo showing a detective's injured leg was also introduced into evidence. The defense claims the large bruise on Gescard Isnora's leg proves he feared for his life after being hit by Sean Bell's car and that's why he shot at Bell and his friends.
