"State of the MTA" Address This Morning

NEW YORK, NY March 03, 2008 —The executive director of New York's mass transit system delivers the first ever State of the MTA speech later this morning.
Elliot Sander's address comes 2 days after the 40th anniversary of the MTA's founding.
During the speech at Cooper Union, Sander will review the agency's accomplishments, describe its current challenges and look at its next 40 years.
After the speech, Sander will answer questions from students and talk to reporters.
The event is open to the public, but registration has closed.
