NEW YORK, NY January 02, 2008 —Letterman's production company reached a deal last week with striking writers that the Writers' Guild says compensates writers when their work is distributed online.

Letterman's deal includes "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson," which his company produces as well.

Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien will also be on with new shows tonight, but without their staff writers.

David Letterman will be back on the air tonight with a new show.
