Giuliani Says He's in Good Health
WNYC Newsroom
NEW YORK, NY December 24, 2007 —Former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani is in the city and says he's in good health.
REPORTER: The Republican presidential candidate was admitted to a Saint Louis hospital late last week after suffering a severe headache. This move has prompted questions concerning the state of his health. But, Giuliani says the prostate cancer he had seven year ago has not returned, and he's dismissing suggestions that he's been campaigning less aggressively in recent weeks.
GIULIANI: I think we've run a very, very active campaign. If you look at my campaign events, I suspect there's no other candidate that's done more than I have on the Republican side. They may have been in some states more than me. I've probably been in more states than they have. But, that was our strategy.
REPORTER: Giuliani says his doctor will release a full report on his health by next week.
