Drivers Vote on New Contract

NEW YORK, NY December 19, 2007 —Striking Access-A-Ride van drivers will vote today on a new contract to end their week-long strike.
The tentative agreement was reached Monday. The parties have agreed not to discuss the proposed deal until after the vote.
As many as 20,000 riders use the service each weekday and about 8,000 have been affected by the strike.
