Crane Accidentat Vesey and West Streets

NEW YORK, NY December 14, 2007 —There has been a crane accident near the World Trade Center site at Vesey and West Streets, where there's a Goldman Sachs building under construction.
The crane dropped a load of steel it was carrying and crushed a trailer. At least one person was rescued; no word on his condition.
EMS workers are on the scene. Buildings inspectors and engineers are headed to the site.
