Bottleneck at Area Airports

NEW YORK, NY November 20, 2007 —One of the reasons the skies are so crowded is that airspace routes have not been changed since the 1960's. The FAA is looking to re-design the airspace over the New York region and Philadelphia to create more arrival and departure routes. But the redesign is meeting resistance from people who live under the proposed new flight paths. WNYC's Brian Zumhagen reports.
