Giuliani Claims US Still Vulnurable to Attack

NEW YORK, NY September 27, 2007 —Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani brought his Presidential campaign to New Jersey last night. WNYC's Bob Hennelly was there.
REPORTER: Giuliani told hundreds of supporters the US needed to stay on the offense because the US was still vulnerable to attack.
GIULIANI: Look at the Islamic terrorists that your US Attorney here in New Jersey arrested a few months who were going to attack Fort Dix. They were going to kill American soldiers here in America. Nobody is exaggerating this.
REPORTER: Giuliani still has to win the GOP nomination but his stump speech already takes aim at Senator Hillary Clinton. One of his strongest applause lines was his description of Senator Clinton's health care plan as socialized medicine.
REPORTER: Months ago Giuliani's years of past support for local New Jersey GOP candidates helped him win the endorsement of most of the County party chairs. For WNYC I am Bob Hennelly
