Rain Marks Solemn Ceremony at Ground Zero
by Amy Eddings
NEW YORK, NY September 11, 2007 —Rain helped make the mood more solemn this morning, for the ceremony marking the sixth anniversary of the Nine Eleven terrorist attack that brought down the Twin Towers, and killed 2,750 people.
REPORTER: For the first time, the ceremony was held away from the World Trade Center site, in a park. First responders read the list of victims' names. Arthur Becker, a former member of Metro Care Ambulance, included a special message to his brother in law.
BECKER: Andrea Bonheur Jr. and to Sal Papasso, your wife Christine and family loves and misses you.
REPORTER: An estimated 3500 people attended. Down from 4700 last year for the fifth anniversary.
