Flooded Subways Reveal Sewer "Crisis"

by Amy Eddings

NEW YORK, NY August 09, 2007 —The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is preparing for what could be another sloppy subway commute tomorrow, because of forecasted heavy storms. Jarrett Murphy agrees, he's the Investigations Editor for City Limits Magazine, and he co-authored a report on what he calls the city's silent sewage crisis. He speaks with WNYC’s All Things Considered host Amy Eddings.
