Manhattan Parking Costly Investment
WNYC News
NEW YORK, NY July 26, 2007 —Manhattan isn't just one of the priciest places to live - a new survey says Manhattanites also pay a lot to park their cars. The Collier International Parking Survey shows the median monthly rate in Midtown is $630 and the median rate downtown is $500. Compare that to $460 in Boston, $350 in San Francisco and just $35 in Phoenix. But Manhattan doesn't take first place - the average price is more than $1100 a month in several London neighborhoods.
