Live Earth at Giants Stadium

NEW YORK, NY July 07, 2007 —The Big Green Hoedown called Live Earth is underway in 9 cities and on all 7 continents, including right nearby at Giants Stadium. Former Vice President Al Gore and his crew of producers have put together an all star line-up. The Police, the Smashing Pumpkins, Kanye West and many more have gathered to raise awareness about climate change. Sarah van Schagen is a writer for the online environmental magazine Grist.org. She spoke with WNYC's Brian Zumhagen.
