Immigrants Rally on May Day

NEW YORK, NY May 01, 2007 —Hundreds of immigrants and their supporters marched from Washington Square Park to Union Square where a rally is being held this evening. Last year, there were massive marches leading up to the May Day event. That "day without immigrants" brought out hundreds of thousands of demonstrators. WNYC's Cindy Rodriguez was at those rallies last year, and at the May Day events today.
