Will Second Ave. Subway Succeed This Time?

NEW YORK, NY April 12, 2007 —Manhattan east side residents may finally be getting some much needed elbow room on the subways.... Or will they? Lawmakers proudly held a ground breaking for the long awaited Second Avenue subway line this morning, but there are several hurdles still facing the project. To start, it's under-funded by almost $900-million dollars.

Joining me to help put the groundbreaking in perspective is Dr. Robert Paaswell. He is the Director of the Transportation Research Center at City College. Welcome Dr. Paaswell.
