City Council Examines Police Complaint Process

NEW YORK, NY March 10, 2007 —In the aftermath of the Sean Bell shooting, a city council panel is looking at how the NYPD polices itself. This week it learned that the Department often ignores police misconduct complaints passed by the Citizen's Complaint Review Board. WNYC's Bob Hennelly has more.
