Local Politicians Express Concern Over Starrett Sale

NEW YORK, NY February 08, 2007 —Starrett City has been sold for $1.3 billion. The sale is sure to turn into a huge battle for the future of affordable housing for the low and middle income residents of the sprawling Brooklyn housing complex. Already, some local politicians and housing officials are expressing their concern and the deal hasn't been finalized yet.
