NJ's Missing Property Tax Reform

NEW YORK, NY December 15, 2006 —Since this summer New Jersey lawmakers were said to be hard at work on close to 1OO proposals that would cut costs and lower property taxes. Yesterday, though, as both houses wrapped up their last meeting of the year, it seemed they had done just about everything, else from blessing civil unions to legalizing needle exchanges.
