City Council Raise Signed into Law

NEW YORK, NY December 05, 2006 —The holidays come early today when Mayor Bloomberg signs off on a 25% raise for City Council members. The increase brings their base pay to $112,500 for what is technically a part-time job. WNYC’s Bob Hennelly has more.
